Game Designer II (GDII-2502)

DreamCraft creates technology that inspires talented individuals to create all kinds of video games without programming. To do that we must break the existing rules of game development based on funded teams and professional engines, and gear up our creators the most intuitive, easy-to-use, instant-deploy tools and unleash their full potential so that they can create the next "Dota", "PUBG", and "Clash of Clans".

Responsibilities

• Design core features of video games
• Create and maintain design documentation
• Collaborate with other teams to design and develop the company’s gaming platform and products
• Work with tech team to design and develop the structure of video games, including planning and developing a wide variety of game elements
• Communicate design concepts and reasoning to team members
• Develop mechanics, content, concept, and monetization for video games
• Develop in-depth understanding and stretch the boundaries of DreamCraft's editor product to implement video game mechanics and content from ground up
• Use Lua programming language to write editor triggers to implement game logics
• Raise features demands and submit various bugs of DreamCraft’s editor or engine to the engineer team
• Provide test maps or bug reproducing method to keep improving DreamCraft’s editor and engine products
• Interact with DreamCraft platform users through social media, product reviews, and other platforms to understand their needs

Requirements

• Requires Master’s Degree in Game Design, Game and Playable Media Computer Science, or related field
• Requires twelve months of experience in the job offered, Game Operation Manager or related
• Experience in Quality Center (QC), Android SDK tools,HTML, CSS, Adobe Premiere and Apache Subversion required
